Our Story
CoreFlex began in 1992 as a subcontractor providing custom automated pharmacy workflow software and controls solutions to prime contractors in the central fill and mail order market. In 1993 our first site went live at Prescription Solutions through a joint effort with SI/Baker. SI Baker was a joint collaboration of Baker APS and SI Handing companies. In 1995 CoreFlex added PLC programming and electrical panel builds for conveyor systems.
Between 1993 and 1999 CoreFlex completed 15 Automated Pharmacy systems and 5 automated warehouse management and control systems. Our customers included Walgreens, Kaiser Permanente, AARP, Penguin Putnam, and Brodart Corporation. In 1998 our Software Automaton solutions were featured in Modern Materials Handling magazine.
Our strength in customizable software solutions gave us the unique ability to interface to any host system, dispensing device and automation equipment. Interfaces included IAS ADU, SIH A-frame, White Carousels, Baker Cells, SIB BK 6000, PLCs (AB, Cutler Hammer & Keyence), Weigh in motion scales, Label Applicators / Document Inserters and sorters.
In 2000 we began a two-year effort to repackage our customized systems into a standard offering that combined our high-level Pharmacy Workflow functionality with Warehouse Management Inventory Control. Thus the beginning of CoreFlex, a branded Warehouse Management, and Inventory Control solution with more than a 1000 customizable profile settings. CoreFlex provided unsurpassed flexible and modular product lines and was now being implemented in Warehouses throughout the private and Third Party Logistics markets.
In 2004 our proprietary CoreFlex SQLFlex™ Scripting language was developed to address customizing workflows for customers in a quick, reliable development tool. CoreFlex SQLFlex™ provides customization to each customers’ workflow allowing specific functionality to be dovetailed into their new, efficient operational procedures all in a timely manner.
SQLFlex™ was continually updated and improved over the years keeping pace with market demands. CoreFlex’s ability to rapidly implement customizations and interfaces to host systems and automated dispensing solutions for our customers continued to be a major competitive advantage for both CoreFlex and our Customers.
In 2014 using our SQLFlex™ technology we developed the CoreFlex Pharmacy Control Management System (PCMS) for high volume prescription fulfillment. In 2017 TCGRx was added as a Value-Added Reseller of our PCMS. Parata Systems also became a VAR of the CoreFlex PCMS in 2019 as new system installations increased steadily.
In 2020 we leveraged our 30 years of warehousing and high-volume prescription fulfillment experience to develop LINCS™ our new product offering. A Logistics and Inventory Control Solution for Central Medication Warehouses in Health Systems. Our first installation of LINCS was contracted in 2021 with a major Health System based in New York.
CoreFlex granted an exclusive license to Parata Systems in 2021 for the CoreFlex™ Pharmacy Control Management System.
Today we continuously add functionality to LINCS, our flagship product line, in order to make Health Systems more efficient. Our LINCS SAAS model is in the final stages of development.
